CAMBUHY CONSCIOUS

Throughout history, men have made changes to our planet. The Earth is not the same as it once was, and now more than ever it’s time to raise awareness about the proper use of the resources it provides us with and our waste disposal back to nature.
With this in mind, Cambuhy Agrícola decided to do its part. More than just being concerned about all these issues, it decided to take action by developing the Conscious Cambuhy Program, which promotes the collection of all waste from harvests and disposes of it correctly. It also raises awareness among all employees about the proper use and disposal of the waste we produce. It’s about taking from nature whatever doesn’t belong to it and disposing of waste with the least possible impact on the environment.

WHAT IS IT? A program to raise awareness and promote the proper disposal of waste.
	WHAT DOES IT DO? After harvest, all non-organic waste that could affect the natural biome of the region is collected. These materials are sorted, and each type of waste is properly disposed of. Farm workers are made aware of the importance of not polluting and of properly disposing of the waste produced.
THE ACHIEVEMENT! To date, hundreds of kilograms of waste have been properly disposed of, farms are cleaner, the soil is more productive, and all those involved have become more environmentally mature.
